Blue Pumpkin - Brause Steno

The Blue Pumpkin has quickly become one of my favorite nibs. It is very flexible and gives you great variations between thicks and thins.

This nib is large and works well for larger lettering. It uses great amounts of inks and provides a wonderful effect. Although it took some getting use to it is much more forgiving than smaller flexible nibs, such as the Hunt 99.

I find that larger nibs actually change my style slightly. A larger nib, such as this or the Zebra G, let my words dance a little more across the page. I typically have a hard time achieving an uneven baseline. A larger nib makes this task a bit easier for me.

Let me know what you think of this nib! I'm curious!

Do you use a reservoir with it? I just purchased this and the ink seems to be sliding out too much and bleeding.
